Insurance tip: When you go to pick your car up, you don't have to accept the extra insurance they offer your Auto Insurance coverage covers rental vehicles.  The fees for this additional insurance can cost as much as the daily rental rate at times and as long as you check with your current insurance provider prior to picking up your rental car, you can avoid paying for coverage you already have.

Cost savings tip:  Weekend rates are almost always cheaper than weekday rates and often a 7 day rental is cheaper than a 4 weekday rental.  If you have flexibility on your travel dates, always try to include a Saturday as part of your rental dates to get the best deals.
